Unlike cotton, bamboo crops grow naturally without any pesticides, herbicides or fertilizers and without the need for agricultural tending and large diesel tractors to cultivate the soil. Additionally, bamboo crops absorb 5 times the amount of carbon dioxide and produce 30% more oxygen than comparable trees, thereby reducing greenhouse gases and cleaning our air!
